Pisac greets you with Inca terraces carved into the hillside and a market that has traded for generations — textiles, silver and pottery sold the same way it always has, the colonial town below and ceremonial ruins above keeping watch over the valley.

12:00 · Transfer to Urubamba
The road drops into the valley floor, where the Urubamba River cuts a green ribbon between the mountains — the Inca empire's old breadbasket, still planted with corn and flowers.
