Itinerary
Day 1 - Lima, the City of Kings
Welcome at Jorge Chávez airport and private transfer to your hotel in Miraflores. A three-part city tour of Lima: the pre-Inca Huaca Pucllana, the Historic Center with the Plaza Mayor and the San Francisco Catacombs, and modern Miraflores and San Isidro.

Day 2 - Paracas, Ica and the Huacachina Oasis
Head south by boat to the Ballestas Islands, passing the El Candelabro geoglyph to spot sea lions and Humboldt penguins. Visit a pisco winery in Ica, then an afternoon of dune buggies and sandboarding at the Huacachina oasis.

Day 3 - Nazca Lines and Cahuachi
Drive across the desert to Nazca, stopping at the Cantalloc Aqueducts. Flyover in a light aircraft above the enigmatic Hummingbird, Monkey and Spider geoglyphs, followed by a visit to the ancient mud city of Cahuachi.

Day 4 - Welcome to Cusco and City Tour
Flight to Cusco with a free morning to acclimatize at 3,399 m / 11,152 ft. In the afternoon, visit the Qorikancha and the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay.

Day 5 - Sacred Valley VIP and Train to Aguas Calientes
Chinchero, Moray and the Maras salt pans in the morning, a buffet lunch in Urubamba, and the Ollantaytambo fortress before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes, where you spend the night.

Day 6 - Sunrise at Machu Picchu
Bus ride up to the citadel and a two-hour guided visit through its main sites and terraces. Descent to Aguas Calientes and return by train and private transport to Cusco.

Day 7 - Route of the Sun: Cusco to Puno
Journey across the altiplano with stops at Andahuaylillas (the 'Sistine Chapel of the Americas'), the Temple of Wiracocha in Raqchi, La Raya pass (4,335 m / 14,222 ft) and the Pucará Lithic Museum, arriving at the shores of Lake Titicaca.

Day 8 - Uros Floating Islands and Amantaní
Sail across Lake Titicaca to the floating reed islands of the Uros, then on to Amantaní Island for a welcome with local families, a traditional lunch and an evening of live music.

A walk along the trails of Taquile Island, recognized by UNESCO for its textile art, with sweeping views of Lake Titicaca. Return by boat to Puno in the afternoon.

Day 10 - On the Road to Colca Canyon
Drive to Chivay with stops at the Lagunillas reserve and Pampa Cañahuas, home to vicuñas and Andean flamingos, and the Patapampa viewpoint (4,910 m / 16,109 ft). Afternoon of relaxation at the La Calera hot springs.

Day 11 - Flight of the Condor and Arrival in Arequipa
Early departure to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint to watch the Andean condor soar above the canyon. Stops in the villages of Maca, Achoma and Yanque before traveling to the 'White City' of Arequipa.

Day 12 - Arequipa, Departure
