Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Cusco and City Tour
Airport pickup and transfer to your hotel. The morning is free to ease into the altitude at 3,399 m -coca tea helps-. In the afternoon we visit the Qorikancha, the old Temple of the Sun where Inca stone meets colonial architecture, then continue to the archaeological sites ringing the city: the ceremonial fortress of Sacsayhuamán, the ritual center of Qenqo, Puka Pukara and the water temple of Tambomachay. We return to Cusco at dusk, near the Plaza de Armas.

Day 2 - Machu Picchu in a day
We leave before dawn for the Ollantaytambo train station in the Sacred Valley. From there, a two-hour scenic train ride along the Urubamba River to Aguas Calientes, then a 30-minute bus ride up to the citadel gate. Your guide leads a two-hour walk through temples, plazas and lookout points, following the circuit assigned on your ticket. We descend for lunch on your own in town, then head back by train and private transfer to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 3 - Cusco, departure
A relaxed breakfast and free time for last-minute shopping in San Blas or San Pedro. At the agreed time, private transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
