Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Cusco and City Tour
Airport pickup and a free morning to acclimatize. In the afternoon, a tour of the Qorikancha and the sites of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay.

Day 2 - Sacred Valley and train to Aguas Calientes
Chinchero, Moray and the Maras salt pans in the morning, buffet lunch in Urubamba and a visit to Ollantaytambo before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes.

Day 3 - Sunrise at Machu Picchu and return to Cusco
A two-hour guided visit through the citadel along your circuit, descent to Aguas Calientes, and return by train and private transfer to Cusco.

Day 4 - Rainbow Mountain and departure
Departure at 4:30 a.m. toward southern Cusco, with an Andean breakfast en route in Paucarpata. From QomerQocha, a moderate one-hour hike leads to the summit of Vinicunca at 5,200 m, guarded by the Ausangate glacier and surrounded by alpacas and llamas. Free time at the top to take in the view before heading down for lunch and back to Cusco, where you'll collect your luggage for the airport transfer -we recommend a departure flight from 10:00 p.m. onward.
